- Unique one of kind antique wooden loom with woven rug in the middle. It is a stunning piece to hang on wall or display it on shelf, excellent piece for any home or studio décor or wonderful house warming gift. On the side of loom the actual scissors and the weaving comb which used to make the rug has been hung and there are sample of each color wool yarns hanging from the rug.
Comb usually made of wood and metal. It is used to pack together the knots and the weft in the rows after every row in the carpet has been tied. The comb is beaten up and down along the warp in order to secure the knots.
Scissors specially made in metal. It is used for cutting the pile on the carpet after one or more rows have been tied. - Period: Mid 20th Century
